Johanne Joseph, PMHNP-BC
Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Johanne founded Jowen Wellness Center to offer the kind of psychiatric care she believes everyone deserves: unhurried, warm, and grounded in current evidence. Every plan starts with listening — to your history, your goals, and what daily life actually feels like for you right now.
Her clinical focus is women’s mental health, with particular experience supporting anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, and the stress that comes with big life changes. Her style is approachable and easy to talk to — while staying clear and practical about next steps.

Common questions about ongoing telehealth care care
What do I need for a video visit?
A device with a camera, a stable internet connection, and a private space where you feel comfortable talking.
Do I have to be in Florida?
Yes — you need to be physically located in Florida at the time of each visit.
Is telehealth as effective as in person?
For many people, yes. If in-person care would serve you better, we’ll talk about it openly.
Do you accept my insurance?
Johanne is in-network with Optum & UnitedHealthcare (UHC | UBH). If you have a different plan, self-pay is available and we can talk through your options.
How much does a visit cost without insurance?
Self-pay rates are $300 for the initial psychiatric evaluation and $175 for follow-up visits. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.
How soon can I be seen?
Submit the form or book online and we’ll reach out to schedule your free consultation, usually within 1–2 business days.
